Michigan

[edit]

There are more than one type of public school district in Michigan, and the short description should probably indicate that, don't you think? 174.212.211.179 (talk) 00:52, 24 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I do my best to keep the short descriptions to around 40 characters per WP:SDFORMAT but if you can think of a way to include that information without adding too many characters feel free to edit the page to add it :) ChillyBlanket (talk) 01:00, 24 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

School Assessment banners

[edit]

Hi, I've seen you've been hard at work finding school articles and adding WikiProject banners to their talk page, but would it be possible for you to also add the class and importance parameters to said banners?

I don't mean to be rude but I've assessed now close to 300 articles on which you added banners in the past month and it would be much more efficient if you made said assessments yourself.

Just to be clear here, I'm not saying the work you did was bad, it's just that it's incomplete and you're creating more work for others to clean up. Sadenar40000 (talk) 19:28, 20 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, thanks for letting me know about this. I didn't mean to add that much work to others. While I finish tagging these articles, I'll just stick to adding the projects I'm a part of. ChillyBlanket (talk) 22:05, 20 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2021 Elections voter message

[edit]
Hello! Voting in the 2021 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 6 December 2021. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2021 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 01:04, 23 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Combining minor edits

[edit]

Both of these edits could have been combined into one single edit. You've made these incredibly trivial changes to hundreds upon hundreds of articles, often in the exact same sequence. Why not combine them into one edit? Alansohn (talk) 13:48, 6 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, in the examples you linked, one was made with Short Description Helper, and the other was manual. The Short Description Helper doesn't have an easy way to fold an edit like that into another edit of the page. I'll try to be mindful of this with other pages in the future. Invitation to participate in a research

[edit]

Hello,

The Wikimedia Foundation is conducting a survey of Wikipedians to better understand what draws administrators to contribute to Wikipedia, and what affects administrator retention. We will use this research to improve experiences for Wikipedians, and address common problems and needs. We have identified you as a good candidate for this research, and would greatly appreciate your participation in this anonymous survey.

You do not have to be an Administrator to participate.

The survey should take around 10-15 minutes to complete. You may read more about the study on its Meta page and view its privacy statement .

Please find our contact on the project Meta page if you have any questions or concerns.

Kind Regards,

WMF Research Team
